| Event Details: The Merritton Lion's Club is holding its annual Community Days events Labour Day weekend, Aug 29th to Sept. 1st. Carnival grounds are open Fri. 5-9 pm, Sat. 12-10 pm, Sun 12-6 pm and Mon 12-9 pm, for rides, games, food and fun. There is a Beef on a Bun dance on Fri. at 8 pm, a Poker run on Sun at 11 am, Beer Garden Mon at 12 noon, Lioness Bingo Mon. 1 pm till 9 pm and the Merritton Lion's Labour Day Parade Mon. at 11 am. The Parade starts at Kernahan Park High School up Hartzel Rd. to Merritton Lion's Community Park. All events are held at 7 Park Ave. St. Catharines, all proceeds to Lion's and local area projects.
