Event Details: On August 27th, 2008 the Niagara Central Airport in Pelham will be hosting an Aviation Day. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will perform their aerial acrobatics directly over the airport. In addition a CF – 18 Hornet is planned to perform a fly-by, piloted by a former student of the Niagara Central Airport. A WWII Lancaster from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum will follow. On the ground, vintage aircraft will be on display, with some warbirds offering rides. No entrance fee with proceeds from a parking donation will be donated to local charity. The theme of the day will be, 'Support the Troops', and will honour the men and women from the Armed Forces from both sides of the border. Come out and show your support for the veterans who have served their country, or are currently engaged in this noble pursuit.
