| Event Details: INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMY DAY!
[1]From 11:00am to 2:00pm. a group of members will be meeting in the Starbucks/Chapters parking lot at Fairview Mall in St. Catharines for SOLAR Observing, and talking about Astronomy. The public are invited to join us at no cost.
[2] The evening event will be at Fireman’s Park.
[a] from 5:00pm and on, we will host a “SOLAR SYSTEM WALK” This is a walking tour from the Sun, to the outermost planet Pluto. (yes Pluto will be included)
[b] Telescopes will be set up for Solar and night time viewing of the Planets and beyond.
[c] After dark there will be a “Guided Tour through the Stars and Constellations.”
The public (everyone) is invited to attend and observe through the telescopes at no cost.
