| Event Details: Everyone is invited to Merritt Island for a day of 'reel' fun. This event is intended to cast light on proper fishing techniques and conservation. If you don't have fishing gear it will be provided at no charge. The derby is held during the Ontario Family Fishing Weekend so no fishing license is required.
Pre-regstration is preferred and children under 12 yrs. of age must be accompanied by an adult. Prizes awarded to children catching the most fish.
