  • NFHS 87th Annual Flower & Vegetable Tuesday, August 12, 2008
    Niagara Falls Horticultural Society proudly presents their 87th Annual Flower & Vegetable Show. One of the longest running shows of it's kind in Ontario, this judged standard show should be a must on your list. Come see what's blooming in Niagara this August!

  • Niagara Falls Comedy Fest November 20, 21, 22, 2008
    The 2nd Annual Niagara Falls Comedy Fest kicks off on Thursday, November 20, 2008 with The Komedy for Kidneys Benefit Show at the Greg Frewin Theatre located at 5781 Ellen Avenue Niagara Falls. Tickets are only $19.00 and proceeds from the event will benefit the construction of a Kidney Dialysis Centre in Niagara Falls.
    The festival continues on November 21 and 22 at the Niagara Centre for the Arts, 4700 Epworth Circle Niagara Falls, with Jeremy Hotz headlining the show along with a great line up of top-notch comedians. Tickets for these shows are $41.99 and may be purchased from Ticketmaster at 416-870-8000 or ticketmaster.ca.

  • Niagara Falls Model Railway Show Sunday, March 1, 2009
    The Niagara Falls Model Railway Show will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Optimist Park Hall in Niagara Falls.
    Showcased through print, photography, maps and models, is the historical railway heritage of Niagara Falls and the surrounding region.
    Show features over 8000 sq. feet of model railway vendors, layouts, and railway displays. Admission is $4.00 (under 12 free with paying adult).

  • Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade November 2009
    The Niagara Falls Annual Santa Claus Parade will be held in November 2009 at 11:00 am. Starting at Victoria and Armoury Streets, the parade proceeds through Niagara Falls to end on Queen St at City Hall. Activities will provided at City Hall along with refreshments and a personality meet & greet.

  • Niagara Falls WALK for ALS June 28, 2008
    The WALK for ALS is the signature fundraising event of the ALS Society of Ontario. The walk raises funds for equipment and support services for people with ALS, and helps fund research for a cure. In 2007, Niagara Falls raised close to $40,000. You can help make the 2008 walk more successful by joining us on June 28 as we walk for those who can't! ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a rapidly progressing and fatal neuromuscular disease affecting 1,000 people in Ontario. Every day, 2-3 people are diagnosed with ALS and another 2-3 die from the disease.

  • Niagara Outdoor Show April 4 and 5, 2009
    The Niagara Outdoor Show provides a wealth of information on boating, fishing, and hunting, from the MNR and many local experts.
    In 2009, the show will be held for two days due to the overwhelming success of past years.
    Check ot the newest in boats, rods, reels, tackle, hunting accessories, and more.
    Kid's can enter the BASSMASTERS Kid's Casting Contest from 10am - 2pm and the Canadian Power Squadron will be offering the opportunity to take your boating test all day.

  • Niagara Woodcarvers Association Show & Competition March 28 and 29, 2009
    For two days, the rasp of the blade and the whisper of wood shavings landing on the floor will fill the Optimist Park Recreation center as the Niagara Woodcarvers Association 30th Annual Show and Competition returns to the Optimist Park Recreation Centre. Carvers from London, Hamilton, Toronto, Buffalo and the Niagara Region will be exhibiting and competing. Carving exhibits, competitions, demonstrations & supplies. Door Prizes. Raffle prizes. Refreshments and free parking.

  • Public Star Gazing January, 2009
    Public Star Gazing evening at Fireman’s Park. from 5:00pm and on, we will host a “SOLAR SYSTEM WALK” This is a walking tour from the Sun, to the outermost planet Pluto. (yes Pluto will be included) Telescopes will be set up for Solar and night time viewing of the Planets and beyond. The public (everyone) is invited to attend and observe through the telescopes at no cost.
