  "Designing Jewellery" Workshop - Beginners and those with some experience - Susan Wintrop Learn to bend a variety of wire loops to create earrings, pendants and bracelets. Then discover the astonishing versatility of Polymer Clay in the Japanese technique of Mokume Gane (colour laminating) for bead making.   Life Drawing Workshop, with Model - Beginners - Jim Kerr Learn proportion, weight distribution, anatomy - enough to get you started in life drawing. Contour and gesture drawing from a model - and then we get outrageous! Oct. 25, 2008 Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

• St. Mark’s Cherry Festival July 2009
  Come and celebrate the cherry harvest on the historical grounds of St. Mark’s Anglican Church. The church will be providing tours of the grounds and live entertainment will be offered all day along with everything cherry.

• Winterglow December through February
  Winterglow is a spectacular event held from December through February. The Christmas trees decorated on November 25th by local community groups will be displayed on Queen Street.
