The Niagara Music Awards presents the Big Starz Singing competition for all the "future nominees." ONE LUCKY WINNER WILL PERFORM AT THE 2008 NIAGARA MUSIC AWARDS! Children 10 & under will be eligable to win. Registration begins at 2:00 pm. Following the competition will begin the "Niasgara's Best" Showcase. - 10th Annual Lake To Lake Classic

The Lake To Lake Classic is a 50 km mountain bike event with riders travelling along Niagara's Welland Canal trails. The route offers many challenging sections that serious competetors will enjoy, and takes participants past local histoical sites. For the second year in a row, the "Pond to Pond" Challenge, a 20 km route from Brock University to the finish line in Port Dalhousie, will take place. Great for famlies or less experienced riders who want to participate in this event. Visit their web site for more info and registration forms.

Saturday, May 17 and Monday, May 19 (closed Sunday)
Visit the community of Virgil this May for the annual Virgil Stampede. There is plenty of fun and excitement for the whole family. Enjoy the large carnival and midway, pig races, Mechanical bull riding, nickel sale, mud bogging ATV's and Trucks along with much more. On Saturday between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm pay one price and ride during those hours for only $20.00. Monday, enjoy a fabulous fireworks show at 9:30 pm.
