The 22nd Annual Marshville Heritage Festival celebrates the rural heritage of the Village of Wainfleet (formerly Marshville) circa 1850. There are 14 buildings restored by the volunteers of the Marshville Heritage Society Inc. located on the grounds of the Village. During the Festival visitors may tour these buildings, see many hands-on demonstrations of yesteryear, and shop at the 100+ crafter venues. Also
an antique car show on Sat & Sun. Lots of entertainment throughout the
weekend.

Celebrating 44 years of agriculture and over 100 years of tradition. The Great Pumpkin Fest is coming this year to the Wainfleet Fall Fair. 3rd Annual Scarecrow contest is coming back. Create a pumpkin scarecrow and you can win.
Events start Thursday September 23rd with the parade, Antique Tractor Pull, Poultry and Cattle Show, Petting Zoo, Alpacas and a Midway.
Friday: the morning begins with our school tours, with many exciting and educational things for kids to see and do, like exotic animals, exhibits of canning, hobbies and crafts, modified tractor pull and of course our Teen Dance and much more.
Saturday is our big day that you don't want to miss. (Starting with the Pancake breakfast served by our local politicians, Farmers market.)
Our popular Baby show and the Pet show that will make you smile. Horse show with beautiful creatures to watch. Live entertainment all day, our popular Demolition Derby, Horse pull and all the awesome exhibits.

- 22nd Annual Bass Fishing Derby

Bring along your fishing license for the 22nd annual bass derby at the Chippawa Creek Conservation Area. Remember this is a conservation area, so no motorized boats are allowed on Dils Lake. There are plenty of prizes for largest catch by total weight. Again, there will be a kids only category. This is a great event for kids and parents to experience a day of fishing together at one of Niagara's naturalized conservation areas.

- Christmas in the Village
Sunday December 6, 2009
On the first Sunday in December, from 1-4:30 pm Marshville Heritage Village will come alive with the sights, sounds and spirit of Christmas Past. Enjoy hot soup, warm cider and Christmas pudding as you take a stroll through the decorated village. Children can visit Father Christmas in the workshop, decorate cookies in the store, and enjoy an old fashioned Christmas Concert + other entertainment. After all this is done come into the PI Hall for a warm drink and goodies. Don't forget to visit our live Nativity in the barn. It's truly a family event.

- Pasta Dinner Fundraiser

W.E.Brown pasta dinner to raise funds for new sound system for the school. We are hoping the public come and enjoy a meal with us. Eat in or Take out.
