Synopsis
| Just as football in the mid 1920's was losing it's lustre with American fan's Dodge Connolly (George Clooney), devises a plan to save the league. Enter Carter Rutherford, a WWI hero and former football star from Princeton and the leagues greatest hope. While Dodge and Carter become rivals on the field they also compete for the love of the same woman, cub reporter Lexie Littleton (Renée Zellweger). Lexie believes there is something amiss in Carter's war stories and follows the team from game to game to uncover the story. |
