Synopsis
After being sent to a German concentration camp near the end of WWII, Salomon Sorowitsch (Karl Markovics) is forced to help the Nazis produce counterfeit money in the currencies of it's enemies. The top-secret scheme dubbed "Operation Bernhard," saw the German Reich produce almost nineteen million bank notes, with a value of over 134,000,000 British pounds or $377 million American dollars. The entire operation took place at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp located north of Berlin in Germany.
