Synopsis
| Working in a coal mine is back-breaking and often dangerous work. For Josey Aimes (Charlize Theron), a single mother just breaking free of a failed marriage, it is a way to build a better life for herself and her children. Putting up with the daily harassment she and the other female miners encounter is another story. Fed up, Josey encourages her coworkers to speak out against the unfair treatment and rally for equality. |
